  112 Eatery is my go to place for small cozy gatherings with friends. The dishes from lamp chops to mini burgers and salads can all be shared very easily and are all unique and well prepared. The atmosphere is small and cozy--try to get a booth. Need to book reservations. The only painful part is the parking--so try taking Uber.

  Be Prepared but a fun place with great food. I brought my family (all adults) to celebrate a birthday and enjoy something special. The food, amazing! Nice environment and lots of fun. One big problem for us was that our server did not explain how they serve. The portions tended to be quite small and they were served in stages so there was never really enough food to share with others and yet three of the five of us were left with nothing to eat for over 20 minutes after the first plate hit the table. The manager (a terrific gentleman) explained this is how they serve and said the server would normally review that with us...she did not. SO, bottom line - by all means go and enjoy some of the best Mexican cuisine I have experienced anywhere. Order plenty of food and know the small plates are truly small so ask for guidance when ordering to share. Figure on spending about $25/person for food then whatever your thirst dictates to enjoy the excellent designer cocktails.

  Great margaritas, and the queso is to die for! Love that their menu is mostly made up of shareable plates too, so that I got to try more than just one dish. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Minneapolis!

  My wife and I wanted to go down to Chevys Fresh Mex but found that it had closed when we checked their website. We were looking for someplace downtown that would offer us something different then your standard Mexican place. Well we found it! Remember this a Tequila bar that also serves food. Don't bring the kids in hoping for booster seats and coloring books, it is a BAR.
  
  We were a little disappointed that we didn't get a reservation earlier because we had sit at the bar. The bartenders were very helpful and quick to help out with drink orders and to explain the food. We loved everything we tried and plan to go back again someday. Mexican food is our favorite so we like to see places that put a new spin on things.
  
  The food came out fast and was nice to look at and even better to eat. Our favorites were the Spicy Shrimp Taco, and the Crab Epandas. The chips and salsa were a nice assortment of Hot, Medium, and Mild. We plan to come back someday to do some drinking they had many nice looking drinks that we would like to sample.
